Privacy Policy

This policy explains how OmniNotes AI handles information when you use the app and related services.

Effective date: August 27, 2026 · Last updated: August 27, 2026

OmniNotes AI (“OmniNotes AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides tools that help users create notes from recordings, meetings, audio files, documents, typed or pasted text, and supported video links. This Privacy Policy describes the information involved in those workflows and the choices available to you.

1. Information we may process

Information you provide

  • Text that you type or paste into the app.
  • Audio that you record or audio files that you choose to upload or process.
  • Documents that you deliberately select for a document-note workflow.
  • Video URLs, such as a YouTube link, that you choose to submit.
  • Messages you send to us when requesting support.

Google account information

If you choose to authenticate with Google, OmniNotes AI may receive the basic Google account information authorized by you through the Google consent screen, such as your account identifier, name, email address, and profile information included in the scopes presented to you. We use this information only to authenticate you, maintain your app session/account experience, and provide the functionality clearly described at the time of authorization.

OmniNotes AI does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the service, comply with law, or with your explicit consent.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only permissions needed for the features that are actually offered to you.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the feature you request, such as creating notes, producing a transcript or summary, preparing audio playback, processing a selected document, authenticating your account, troubleshooting errors, protecting the service, and responding to support requests.

3. Audio, documents, text and video links

The app only accesses content that you actively provide or select for a feature. Some processing may occur locally on your device. Where a feature requires a network service, only the information reasonably required for that feature is transmitted. You should not submit content that you do not have the right or permission to process.

For YouTube note workflows, the app may inspect information associated with the URL and available captions and may use transcription functionality when needed. OmniNotes AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

4. Device permissions

Features that require access to your microphone, files, media, or network will use the related device permission only for the feature you initiate. You can manage permissions through your device settings. Denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but should not affect unrelated features.

5. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or as otherwise disclosed within the app. Local content remains subject to the storage and deletion behavior of your device and the app. Support communications may be retained for customer-service and security purposes.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf when needed to operate, host, secure, or support the service. These providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service purpose and subject to appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to protect users, rights, or security.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission, device, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also protect their devices and account credentials.

8. Your choices and deletion requests

You may stop using the service, remove device permissions, revoke OmniNotes AI’s Google access from your Google Account, and request deletion of information associated with your use of the service where applicable. To make a privacy or deletion request, email support@faryad.click.

9. Children’s privacy

OmniNotes AI is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the request.

10. International processing

Depending on the services used to operate OmniNotes AI, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features or data practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, when appropriate, provide an additional notice.
