Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of OmniNotes AI and the services made available through the app.
By accessing or using OmniNotes AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.
1. The service
OmniNotes AI provides note-creation tools that may include meeting capture, audio recording, audio-file workflows, document-based notes, typed or pasted text, and note creation from supported video URLs. Features may change, improve, be replaced, or be discontinued over time.
2. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You give us the limited permission necessary to process that content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, transcribe, summarize, or otherwise process content.
3. Recording laws and consent
Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Before recording a conversation, class, meeting, or other audio, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by applicable law, organizational policy, or contractual obligation.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it to violate law or third-party rights, distribute malicious content, or use automated methods that create unreasonable load on the service.
5. Third-party services and content
Some features may interact with third-party platforms or content. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. OmniNotes AI is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party content and is not affiliated with Google or YouTube unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Google authentication
If Google sign-in is offered, your use of Google authentication is also subject to Google’s applicable terms and policies. You can revoke access granted to OmniNotes AI through your Google Account settings.
7. AI-generated or automated output
Transcripts, summaries, and other automated results can contain errors or omissions. You should review important output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, academic, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, platform changes, connectivity issues, device limitations, or third-party dependencies may affect availability.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OmniNotes AI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded will be limited to the extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using OmniNotes AI at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent misuse, or enforce these Terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date will show when changes were made. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
